After it had thought the danger had passed it carried on eating. - Hares often sit tight anyway. Pigeon_decoyer Posted April 22, 2004 Report Share Posted April 22, 2004 Ive had that experience before, one night i was out shooting rabbits in the back of my dads shogun with a shogun, we were blasting away at the bunnies and had but 12 in the sack. When we returned back to the farm we emptied out the rabbits from the bag on to the floor, to our amazment a bunnie was sitting there looking at us! As we all were standing there in shock the ******* ran of in the distance. On the way home we were discussing how it could of happened, we must have shoot at the bunnie and missed and it must of layed there still in shock! Aled_cky Posted April 22, 2004 Report Share Posted April 22, 2004 yeh ive had some and i know theyve gone unconsious from shock as i couldnt feel any ball bearings and couldnt see any blood.then after when i was skinning it. i could feel its heart still pumping.. it died straight after.
