Just a quick message to say Hi and to introduce myself. I have been looking at the site for a little while now and find it helpful and informative. I have been shooting rabbits, crow and pigeon with an air rifle for a number of years now but have recently taken up clay pigeon shooting whilst in Leicester. I have not tried pigeon shooting with my Miroku MK38 yet as I don't think I am good enough on the clays yet but I'm sure I will get there in a while, in the meantime the rapid sorts them out.

Yep, I guess you are right, if I follow the same rules as when using my rapid ie make sure you are going to kill with the shot you take, I will be ok. The permisson I have has FAC for an air rifle on it already, however I will check with landowner to see if he has any problem with the extra noise or if I need fibre wads, I only have plastic wad clay carts at the moment. From what I have read 28g #6s seem to be the tool for the job for pigeon. Is that right?

Thanks for the welcome
