Teal
Its consistently being run by people who want guns banned: Sites for tobacco manufacturers or retailers; suppliers of pornography; marriage or escort agencies; gun clubs or manufacturers or retailers of guns or armaments. Why the hell are guns banned from displaying their "news headline" service: see: http://news.bbc.co.uk/shared/bsp/hi/servic...ml/criteria.stm #16 Yet they allow certain gambling sites etc.. Send them an email if you get a chance guys, its the thin end of the wedge.
Lurch
You might care to mention that their own site contrevenes their guidlines by being: 5. Sites that discriminate against any specific social group or otherwise exploit vulnerable sections of society i.e. discriminating against one of the most law abiding social groups in society - gun owners You might also care to remind them that you are licence payer and don't appreciate paying to be discriminated against. Whilst you're about it cc to your MP with a comment about paying for biased media. This approach by the BBC is far from unique, Google refused to accept ads for The Sportsmans Association and my own site cssd.org.uk because both sites mention or promote guns and my site "advocates violence". Check out the page on the site for the correspondence.
