Hammergun
More a case of whether you fancy the look of it or not. It will be very heavy and bulky to carry around as opposed to a Webley BA
Cranfield
I have only seen one of these and that was about 20 years ago. It was very heavy and more of a collectors item, than a serious, usable gun. It did look rather good though.
stoggieman
Hi all R/E the converted lee enfield. These were sold 1960 ish in the farmers weekly Ithink they were about 10 -15£ each Be aware that they had no choke at all so their range was rather limited (about 10 yds) They would last a life time though The barrel was bored out to remove the rifleing nice to own but a little impractical as a bunny gun Peter
red_stag88
One of the best .30-06 rifles is a Springfield from WWI - II, If you can get hold of one they are as accurate as any other rifle, just a bit heavy.

Hammergun
I saw a converted Lee Enfield in a local gun shop for £50 last year. It had been in for months. How much was the Remington? Don't often see such guns here.
digger
the remington was up for £575,as i said it is a really nice looking gun in good condition.the guy who owns the shop has only seen one before and enthused about it.i dont know if it would be a gun i would use but my gun safe has plenty of room for such a nice looking well made gun.
