al4x
If you were shooting a permission on a golf course late at night and saw people exiting the club house laden with booze they had just stolen would you do anything? This is hypothetical except it happened near me and the police officer I spoke to was bemused by it
Chard
If you were shooting a permission on a golf course late at night and saw people exiting the club house laden with booze they had just stolen would you do anything? This is hypothetical except it happened near me and the police officer I spoke to was bemused by it I might try to get their registration number, but no more than that. If I was armed, I wouldn't go near them. The law in this country is so moronic that I would probably get done for threatening behaviour or something equally stupid. So the Police can be as bemused as they like, but that's why I wouldn't do any more than that.
Tony9r
... no telling what stories they would come up with if you approached with a firearm
al4x
Yep they stood back and watched apparently very large guys with shotguns, my mate was like how could they just let them go I said I was sure it was because of the fact they had firearms with them. Madness apparently the £100 of booze that was taken took £2K worth of damage to get their hands on.
jayward
tbh even if it was my club i would think long and hard before i did anything at all !! Who knows what would/could happen say they smash you round the head with a bottle of whatever they had just stole and took your gun !!! humm i would be thinking let em go try get a plate number or a picky with mobile phone ring the law maybe follow them but again your armed ! they have only to see you and there could be a altercation tricky that one on the whole let em go claim on insurance thats what its there for afer all "police officer I spoke to was bemused"
Hunter
Call the Police double time, and suggest a 'silent aproach'. Meanwhile log any info possible. Time of the crime, registration marks on vehicles, number of offenders etc, and relay to the police when they arrive. All of course, out of sight. I always carry a notepad inside a camo pouch for whatever reason, while out shooting.
Hunter
Webtex pouch containing snap-light stick, pen, and small pad. The pack is small and fits onto a belt or in the bag.

Mungler
I would give Tommy Trucker a bell to shoot their tyres out from 300+ yards away. I would however need Suffolk Shooter to carry out a quick health and safety inspection and audit prior to the commencement of shooting (sorry there Jamie, couldn't resist that one and to get the spoon out). Job done and they would be none the wiser unless they stole some very expensive high power nocs from the club house with the booze.
