Owenwill
Had great day yesterday at our first visit to the Midland Game Fair, kid's didn't moan about walking too much, even the wife had to admit it was enjoyable day, we took our 14 wk old springer with us, she behaved really well, great learning experience and had some great training comments/advice off the many folk we spoke to, by mid afternoon she was understandably pooped, after the below pic was taken we had to take turns carrying her back to the car! Was 10 wks when we had her, the breeder didn't agree with tail docking, to be honest it's not something that concerns me too much, if she was going to be working day in, day out fair enough. Saw quite a few spaniels with undocked tails yesterday so she didn't feel the odd one out
Suffolk shooter
Nice picture, good weather for it as well. I will get to this one one day, all the write ups on it make it seem good value, lots of bargains to be had I hear. SS

mr_colt
Yeah the fair on Saturday was great; not just for shooting but something for everyone countrywise. To be honest I only caught a few rounds of the clay championship, I was just too busy. My Mother went on Sunday with her husband and took their Border Terrier who is about a year and 3/4's old. Needless to say they really enjoyed the gundog side as well as the show in general. daitai
Went up to the show on friday night, camped next to the lurcher coursing near Dave Slight. Just happend to be next to some fellow Welsh lads up for the weekend also. Picked up some new permissions (had to travel to Midland Game to get permission 3 miles from home!) So i was really pleased.
