Np300
A little bit of boredom today so here’s how I make my fenn trap boxes. I’m sure some people won’t like them but some people will like them, but it works for me and if it helps someone else out then it’s all good. The little V notch in the side is to locate the safety hook in. This lines up the trap perfectly with the wood on the bottom which makes the trap sit flush and gives the box a bit of strength. I find using just 3 lengths of wood it’s a bit flimsy
Bigbob
If your going to that bother drill a hole on the other side to safety catch attach a small yellow cable tie to the trap jaw and when you set it feed the cable tie threw the hole if you can see the cable tie you dont have to bend down to check it , if you cant see the cable tie the traps sprung and theres something in it

Ricky1
I made some tunnels a while back, it’s not just the actual box that care is needed, when setting the fenn it pays off to do prep work, digging the fenn into soil the gently covering it makes a big difference. https://photos.app.goo.gl/tZ433JRAWu8aVpmd6
