Soon made prosecutor then district prosecutor (DP). Made a temporary senior DP covering for absence, made a good fist of it and so moved up to specialise in complex cases. She's always had the one ambition and a few months ago was made Assistant Coroner. A couple of weeks back she applied for the post of Coroner down here but didn't hold out much hope being up against 6 other existing ones from elsewhere - probably eyeing up the location - and she said that the interview was horrendous.
