Goldfish
Lyalvale 2 1/2" .410 cartridges are subsonic See page 20 of October's Shooting Sports. No wonder people say they cant see the point in spending all the extra on subsonics Lyalvale say 1300fps but the tests show 1087fps Speed of sound at sea level is 1116.43 so as long as your cartridges shoot slower than that you have sub sonics. Has anyone got data on other cartridges so we can share the knowledge of what is subsonic for all us Hushpower users, 410, 20 and 12 users? Dave66
Trying to fit a lamp to my .410 hushpower, have you any pics of a clamp arrangement, because I tend to hold the barrel well in front of the short forestock, I was thinking of a clamp to hold the lamp bottom side of the barrel towards the end ? Thanks Dave
vole
I gave up on putting a lamp on my hush cos it never kept pointing where i wanted.i now use a big re chargeable lamp slung under my arm.ps i find most of my Eley 12g hushpower carts pretty quiet, guess they subsonic, apart from the odd one that sounds like a regular 12g cartridge.ps it was the Deben sg clip adapter btw
