I use the above to play a few games etc. For some reason, there's an annoying issue with demo games popping up, either between different levels of a game I'm playing, or even when actually playing the game. I have tried everything but cannot stop this.

Sounds like adverts.

Unless you can turn the internet connection off, then there is nothing you can do about them.

Adverts yes, but for other games that are available. Switching the internet off stops me using 90% of the games. It's a nuisance, and didn't happen with my old Lenovo tablet. I've got an Adblocker installed, which appears to work, apart from it not stopping adverts for games. I'll see if I can contact them for any other advice.

Buy the game - usually means no apps (except for in-app purchases to tempt you) - free game - they have to make their revenue from somewhere and that's advertising

The problem I have is that there are many games from different companies, showing demo's. As mentioned, it didn't happen with my old tablet, which was exactly the same make/model.
