there is a lot of heresay about the Bowie knife...some people think it was taken from the design that spanish sailors used.....the other old wives tale that Jim Bowie had it made from a metorite he saw fall and then recovered............pity the original is lost to history...

Arr it was made by James black and when he was smelting the ore he dropped in the meteorite or was it kryptonite?
