henry d
After thirty years in Scotland I got used to the sound of the first pinks and now that I am in Tyneside I thought I would not hear them going over my house but I was wrong. On the 16th I heard them and eventually saw them heading E. I thought it was going to be a one off but today two skeins went over, one of about 150+ and another around 40-50, heading S, extremely happy bunny. I've also been seeing teal and wigeon near Blyth when out on my kayak.

henry d
I knew that they are on Lindisfarne, but I don't think I ever saw any as a kid or adult much further south, but great to see and hear
