Zapp
Hi all I have a rather *ahem* tender question regarding the use of my newly purchased rotary. Upon reading the instructions, I noticed that the long (head supporting) part on the bird cradle is supposed to go to the birds head via it's "vent". Not knowing what the vent is, my first intinct is that I need to stick the thing up the birds a*se, and that the folks at shootwarehouse are too polite to put it in such terms.... Having said this, it has to be said that whenever I cant work out how to use some new gadget I feel the need to find somebody and subject them to the same treatment using the offending item! Am I right in my assumption (I hope I'm not)? I'd hate to shoot something and then subject it to the indignity of amateur "probing" unless absolutely vital. Thanks for any advice you may wish to share ZB

invector
How the heck do you think you're going to get it there? You'll find a pigeon's bum goes both ways, but don't spear your hand...........
pin
Up the clacker if you do it right thread through the neck and spear its head (some force required) onto the end to secure it. Welcome to the macabre merry-go-round
Zapp
Fair enough, looks like I'll have to "take the plunge" so to speak.. All these years using just shell deeks and not shooting that many doesnt seem so bad all of a sudden.... Thanks for the help! ZB

henry d
You may find that the arms will accomodate spreading the tail feathers out, just like a pigeon does when landing. Just thread the outer feathers behind the arms and the tail should stay splayed out.
