casts_by_fly
Hi All, I want to get a map that shows the land owners of the farms around my permissions. Do the ordinance survey maps do that? The online free maps seem to show boundaries, but not owners. What about the paid maps? Is there some other place I can look it up? In the states you'd have to go to the county courthouse and look up the title records for the property of interest. Thanks, Rick
Blackbart
There is a service you can use but you have to do it on each individual farm and it costs everyime you use it. I have the address somewhere i will dig it out for you.

Hardy
If you go to your council's web site & to the planning application section you can find it there. They all now use some centeralised software provided by the Land Registry. It is dependant that your land is registered which, if it's been in the same hands for a long time, it may not be. malkiserow
it is quite cheap to buy on line a couple of quid per enquiry/piece of land..... but one farm may be split up into many land registry numbers......called "title number" suggest if you can .... go to an land registry office ..... speak nicely to the assiatant and get to look at their screen.... take a notebook and pen and scribble like crazy for all the info you need ..... cost...ZERO
pavman
Each bit of land has a title the title has a number and this relates to the owner as as stated you can trace the owner via online web site for a small charge if you have the title number. I resently traced the owner of a garage plot that joins the rear of my manor and now own it to gain access, it took a while. However in your case the yellow pages list farms so a phone number is a start, ring the farm and ask are you the owner because I have some great news if you are! if they say no ask for the owners number, if they say yes tell them you can help with their woodie problem..... sorted
invector
Go to a camping or outdoors shop, or WH Smith, and buy a Pathfinder map, which shows all the field boundaries. Scale 1:25,000 or two and a half inches to the mile. (4cm to 1km)
