Vulcha
Hey guys. Basically, I was out ratting this weekend and kinda mistook a stoat for a rat. Not knowing if they're protected or not, I wouldn't have fired if I knew it was a stoat, but it was kinda dark and it was exactly where the rats usually appear from. So, having decided its a pretty cool creature that didn't really need shooting, I decided I'd like to have it stuffed and mounted. Hopefully one of you guys could help me out, or atleast point me in the right direction.

Not trying to be negative, but if it was protected it would be a bit late as it's already DEAD Stick it in a sealed bag as it won't get frost burn, then look out for someone who will do a good job, not used any myself but take a look in the shooting mags

taxidermy dave
Give it a go yourself, practice on a few squirrels first, then do your stoat, youll get alot more satisfaction from it(if you got the patience to do it).theres plenty of websites that tell you how to and go onto snowdownia's site for the materials. If you dont want to, give it to me ill do it for ya dave
