webber
With reds around, Im not sure that snares are the answer. Would you not be better useing cage traps? You can then release the reds without harm! webber
Hammergun
Live catch traps are best. I have used them to great effect on greys.
youngshot
i once found a sight on google the showed a long log proped up against a tree wit about 15 small wire snares in different places up the pole. the idea being that no matter wear the squirrel went up the pole it would get caugt ina snare and fall of and it should break its neck from being hung. i hav heard about squirrel shooting using a .22 from a high seat. aparantly this is ver effective. this would probably be the best option along with live catch traps because u dont want to kill and reds!! good luck!!
