I'm sure i have posted this on here before .

I once had a visit a few years ago from the RSPCA , the fine officer turned up at my door and demanded to inspect my dog , as he had heard that i had been treating the boy cruely . I asked him who had said this and what was the cruelty thing about ?

He said that someone had told them that i was using the boy to kill foxes ( now this was when it was legal) . I told him that he must have his facts wrong .

He once again asked to see the dog , and that he could come in my house without permission , if he tohught that i was miss-treating any animals . This got my back up , he was told to go fourth , an get the police with a search warrant , and whilest he was going fourth he may as well go down the road to number (45) and check out her fat , may i say obese dog .

The Rspca officer never came back . They do keep on putting them sacks thorugh my door for clothes and books etc .... I just put the boys **** in it an leave out put for 'em .

Needless to say the anti at (45) had a dead un chucked over her wall .

all the best yis yp :yp:

You are bang outa order in your treatment of whashername @ #45 :good: and you should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself :exclamation:

I had a visit from someone collecting for the RSPCA come knocking on my door. He saw my Jacko stood next to me and said i was obviously an animal lover, would i like to make out a direct debit.

I said i am an animal lover, and i did a lot of conservation work as i am an active fishing and shooting man. Isaid i wouldnt be making any donations to a group that had become more extreme over the years and would use the money to try and stop my activities.

He stumbled away and blundered through the gate like i was the antichrist. :exclamation::good:

Bagsy - sounds like you got a good RSPCA "Inspector", there are some out there, it's the organisation itself and those who run it that I have a problem with. Just because you have nothing to hide though does not mean that you have nothing to be concerned about. Type "RSPCA Animal Welfare Act" into Google and prepare to be pished off at some of their antics carried out "for the animals"

I am into birds of prey and I think that the owl should of gone to a person who knows about them and has a suitable housing for it. If they found a swan with a broken wing I am sure they would fix it. I think he killed it because he did not know wat to do and that was the only answer he could say.

As of late I nearly had the same Owl, same broken wing, etc. It would have came into my aviaries, had it's wing fixed, then at a convenient time returned back to the wild, & if not, would have stopped with me for the rest of it's natural life.

Luck was on it's side, as it ended up at Kielder, where they have the Falcon/Hawk displays on, they have a lot of different Owls, I was pleased with the out come.

It certainly wouldn't of went to the RSPCA...................!!!

:exclamation: I have 200 snakes and people around here know that and one day a big male iguana that was injured wqs dumped on my doorstep in a sack, i cleaned him up and fed him for a few days but couldnt keep him, it was a big male in breeding colours and attacked me whenever I went near it, however this is normal behaviour for an ig. i called the rspca becauase the iguana rescue people told me to.....they came to collect him while i was at work, then told my wife to get him out of the vivarium he was in, took it in one of my boxes then informed us the next day that they had destroyed it.....w**kers!

I'm astounded by any suggestion that one should get into discussion with the RSPCA if they turn up at your door and demand entry. Don't go into defensive legal mode, tell them to eff off in the same way you would any other unwanted oik who is trying to gain entry to your property.
