yates
I’m just about to sell my Silver Pigeon grade 1 shotgun. I bought it as a left handed sporter but I cannot locate any paperwork to support this. I’ve checked the serial number but have had no luck so far. Certificate just says Beretta o/u. Any suggestions Thank you in advance Edited September 15, 2022 by yates
Weihrauch17
You can see cast and it's weight and rib style will tell you Game or Sporter. A 30 inch Sporter should weigh around 7 3/4 lb. Game guns generally have auto safety's and Sporters manual. grahamch
Pporter should have vent mid rib
Fil
Top rib on the Sporter has a wide top rib and vented side ribs. Also the stock is wider across the comb and deeper from heel to toe. As said heavier and manual safe too. Although not unknown to have had auto safe fitted afterwards so don't go by just that.
