MadSpringer
Out with the Cocker Pups this morning and managed to take a few pics of them! The older one Fern is coming up for 5 months old and is very keen and responsive, the only object she will retrieve to hand at the moment is a plastic bottle so a plastic bottle is what I use. It’s all just play training and I’m happy that she is keen to bring it to me. I’ve tried tennis balls and puppy dummies and she is happy to pick them but drops them half way back at the moment so I will stick with the bottle for now! The younger one is now 15 weeks and a lot more laid back, not had this pup on a lead yet as she is happy to trot along at heel, a very sociable pup that wants to be close to you all the time. Dead-Eyed Duck
Cockers are absolutely beautiful - just lost mine after 14 years. Perhaps not so easily trained as springers, but full of character. Don
