Dave-G
Here's a link to my marketplace listing on FB. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/496587765713599 I'll be adding an optional extra magnetic roof mount thermal camera transmitter sending its imaging to an in car 7 inch monitor using quadcopter drone type radio waves rather than wifi when I get some photos and video completed later. The thermal is only available with the car - Its a unique personal one off build that I rarely use now there not much left to be shot on my perms. I won't be selling it separately and didn't want to reveal this shooting related option to the general public in the FB listing. I think I posted this earlier, so I either made a submit mistake or it was removed without being told why. I'd initially intended to post it in motoring but a sticky there instructs to post in The Trading post section. If there is something wrong with the post I can list it directly here with its 20 large photos to be hosted on here rather than FB. 3000 of your English pounds please Edited October 29, 2022 by shaun4860 Price added cos I’m nice
Mice!
You'll need to put the price @Dave-G despite the link 😉
Ultrastu
I've been wanting exactly your car for a couple of years now .and yours looks lovely . But unfortunately I'm in no position to be able to afford 1 right now .which is a real shame. I'd have bitten your hand off for that money . Good luck with the sale . Dave-G
Thanks very much for that Shaun. The optional extra thermal camera transmitter and 7 inch receiver/monitor is offered with the car only, at £1200. Making the car and roof thermal £4200. It has fairly low resolution sensor compared to most modern spotters so its more of a quarry finder to drive towards using a nice quiet petrol engine car than a gaze at it in awe from a distance device. Driving directly towards quarry rather than across it gets me within forty yards or closer for rabbits and badgers - not for shooting brock of course. Hares stand their ground for longer being able to get away faster, Fox and deer are usually a bit more alert. There wasn't much to be seen tonight, which is usually the case with no moon in my bunny bashing experience. Very local Diwali fireworks going on late made it even worse I guess, or possibly VHD at play. Here's some photos tonight and I'll upload a video of some old and new clips tomorrow. Dave-G
I've been asked by PM for an under bonnet engine run video - here's a cold startup with the automatic choke running at higher RPMs. I was up the golf course after midnight so there's some dead leaf debris not dried out and dropped off yet. All the alloys are in good condition - in fact the front offside is new and I refurbed the scuffs to it as a second spare. Dave-G
Here's a video of the shooting position in the G.V, how the thermal quarry finder is fitted and the imaging it produces. There are much better modern thermal spotters, this is an early low resolution one best considered as a hands free roof mounted quarry finder with no trailing cables in the way. Gawd knows why there is audio - it serves no purpose so just turn the speakers off.
