Chamber/breech damage ???.

Hi gang.

             A while back i had trouble with winnie subs spent cases not ejecting from my CZ 452 .22. before i realised it was a bad batch of winnies.  I

             put a phos bronze brush on an electric drill and gave the chamber a good cleaning. What i want to know is there a chance i could of damaged the chamber 

             by doing this as i done it a few times ?. I used a 410 brush.

How the hell did you manage to force a .410 brush in a .22lr chamber?

You can usually cure ejection problems on those rifles by a touch with a Swiss needle file to sharpen the angle of the extractor.

Did not force at all. The brush just folded into shape. No real pressure used.

"Clicking" the trigger on an empty chamber can raise a burr on some rifles, notably the old Brno 22

I have cured this with a chain saw file, used carefully.

a bronze brush will not harm a steel barrel don't believe all the **** on you tube about damaging  rifle barrels with bronze brushes
