samboy
Hi gang. Does anyone know if this model with the ported barrels is proofed for steel as it is quite an old gun. Thanks all.
TIGHTCHOKE
As ever it will be fine for ordinary small shot steel loads.
Scully
The one I owned wasn’t proofed for HP steel, if that’s what you mean, but it wouldn’t stop me using HP steel in it.
samboy
Was sent this by the rfd who is selling the gun, This will definitely be pre-high pressure steel shot proofing. Its going to be suitable for standard steel loads up to 32gr 4's and 5's plus any of the steel clay shot sizes.

Did he also tell you that that is through ANY choke? However, if you submitted it for HP steel proofing you will discover that you needn’t have! 🙂 Edited May 25, 2023 by Scully
