Dave2107
It’s a hand pistol do you have any idea what it could be though thanks
sportsbob
It is a single stroke pneumatic pistol, when you open the top to load a pellet into the barrel air is drawn into the cylinder and when you close the top the air is compressed in the same way it would be if you put your finger over the end of a bicycle. pump. When you pull the trigger a valve is opened to allow the air to escape via the barrel and this is what propels the pellet. The only two things that can fail are the seal in the compression tube and the valve. If you open the gun an then close it without a pellet being inserted you should have to use reasonable force to do so if the air is escaping from the valve you will hear it escaping via the barrel, if the air is not escaping via the barrel then the cylinder inner seal has failed. Dave2107
Thanks bob it’s hard to close. But when you fire there s only a small amount of air. So do you think the f the piston seals were replaced it should be better thanks
