ollienobes95
I noticed that Mike Tindall was recently wearing a set of air pods while shooting, I have the ones with noise cancelling, but never thought to wear them shooting….any experience/feedback? Smokersmith
I doubt their decibel reduction properties.
TK421
They’ll offer sweet FA protection against the noise from a shotgun. But at least you can still take calls and listen to a bit of ABBA 😉
udderlyoffroad
Not quite sweet FA, all the detail here, but I wouldn't recommend it. Better than nothing, of course, so if you forget your 'ears' by all means use them. If you want some kind of connectivity with an actual SNR rating, I'd go for these. I use these for DIY and have worn them shooting. Comfortable and not likely to move or fall out. And even if they do, they're attached via a cable so you're not going to lose one, unlike an airpod design. You can adjust the 'ambient' noise to suit, turn up too loud and you become aware of how much your clothes rustle. The other thing is, even if you forgot to charge it and it dies when you're out, it works acceptably as a passive noise blocker.
