In 1958 Eley Grand Prix 30 grams cost approximately 14s (70p)for 25 at a time when a man took home about £7 a week.So really it was 4 hours work per box.

Today that box would cost approximately £12,about 1 hours work. We can get 4x more for our money now,and it’s still expensive!

Oh dear oh dear! Item on page 59 and Mrs Thatcher would have had apoplexy. A rifled barrel on a self-loading shotgun. Well that will have to be banned. As indeed she did do in the 1988 Firearms Act.
