mr smith
One of my shoots had a couple of fields this year, the pigeons were fairly keen on it and had a few good days on it.Just have to watch a farmers description of 'loads of them',i tend to find we see a handful of whatever(rabbits, pigeons, etc.)farmers see hundreds. Cranfield
Kale is not a food of choice for pigeons, its my experience they will eat almost anything else before kale. Kale is a diaretic (more so even than rape) and passes straight through the birds, giving them little nourishment for what they are eating. Evidence of this is normally all over the kale tops.
