As a student on a tight budget, Im trying to decide which .22CF to go for for foxes and possibly occasional Muntjac. Does anyone know which .22's are best value second hand? .223 was my original preferance but they seem to hold their value and therefore cost a bit more second hand. Is there a reason for this or is it just that there more popular. .222's seem cheaper. I shouldnt choose on price but i dont have much choice. I just need something that will do the job properly as I dont think my .17HMR is a humane fox rifle. Any help would be appreciated.
