Lightweight magnet

Hi all. 

Any one use an A1 decoy light weight magnet are they any good and are the motors substantial enough to take dead birds. Only use one for laid barley seem a good idea less weight.

Half the weight has got to be good. 

Especially as it's nearly all barley everywhere this year due the weather.

if I had any complaints it would be the wing screws, the plastic heads on some of the screws became loose and started turning when tightening, I just replaced them with some off ebay.

Hello, just to add with my Magnet that came from A 1 i did find on soft ground the spikes did loosen up a bit due to the rotating so i found some flat bar and cut out a square the  same size as the middle spike and which i used like a Cross which helped stabilize the rotary

Yes thanks i spotted that easy fix though. 

I'm not a magnet fan but the do work well on laid and short barley also peas when they get high.

if its this model you are looking at (with adjustable motor height) I have never had any problems with it working loose even on light soil….https://www.a1decoy.co.uk/product/lightweight-pigeon-magnet-deal/
