Ferret Master
Lighter loads have less lead in them. Heavier loads have more lead in them. FM
viking
so what gram would you use for the two, and i take it there will be more recoil with the heavier carts, for clays at the moment where i shoot i use the 24g 7.5s, there provided, thanks
njc110381
You can use 24g or 28g loads for clays, I find 7.5s good for all round use. Don't buy D&J, they're not so good. Eley olympic trap are a good budget shell, or Gamebore white gold if you want to spend a little more. I like fibre wads, as they rot down rather than leave plastic about the place. Field loads. 30g of 6s are good all rounders. Try Gamebore clear pigeon or Eley hi flyers. Again, I find fibre wads a must in the countryside
monkeyboots
what about number 6s in 36grms would you reckon these would make a good all rounder or would they be a we bit hard hitting, i usually use 6s in 30 or 32 grms but if i want i can get a good deal on the 36grm carts from my local store i tried them on crows and they are a hard hitting shell if yous had the choice would you opt for the 36 or stick to the 30/32grms
