marsh man
In reality this is how wildfowling is , unlike Pigeon shooting it is not purely about numbers , we are a strange lot really ( in the nicest possible way ) where we go days and nights in all weather conditions with shooting very little that end up in the bag ,or like most times we go home with a empty bag , then we pick the right night where everything go right , we are shooting well and very soon reach our self imposed limit , my limit was a bit more than the op with me it was 10 but very rarely I would reach that as mine were mixed duck , if I shot four Mallard then it was it and I would then just shoot at Wigeon , now if I get a good Mallard to eat then that is it till I want another , or if I fancy a goose I would go till I got the one and again that would be it , if you want the bigger numbers like they do with Pigeon shooting then wildfowling is not for you .
