Vey much well worth a watch; there's two seasons now. He has a pretty decent hypothosis. No, I didn't see the shower.

The short answer was Yes we did , on the first drive they pushed through two smallish woods that were nice and warm with a load of vegetation and although I didn't see them as I was a long way back but the keeper saw at least 7 , then throughout the day we kept seeing the odd one , the day was a 150 bird day and as we had a lot of duck and a fair bit of game the guns were asked to leave the Woodcock alone unless one of the guns wanted one for himself , which nobody did , the 150 day was easily achieved even though the young guns were not on the best of form . You can see how dry the land is this year , last year you would have got a 4x4 stuck where my dog is sitting . Krico woodcock
Thanks MM, few in with you so. I spent a couple of hours yesterday looking for them, rise 5 , shot 1. But talking to other lads in different parts of the country (over here) they haven't met any or many. So only a sprinkling of them, It'll be next week till there is a good fall of them in i recon, moon was at its fullest last night. Hard weather forecast for next week too. Glad to hear the shoot went well, and that's a tasty looking hen pheasant in your labs mouth.👍 11 hours ago, marsh man said: Evening Krico ....
