My parents had the following and I used to be dropped off to school in either a:-

- Harley Davidson - Side car

- Pink 1950 Cadilliac - in lots of videos, films etc - (Videos of Brass Pocket by Pretenders)

- Convertable Oldsmobile

I owned the following:-

MK4 Cortina

Nissen Micra - drove it for 3 miles and took it back to shop

MK2 Escort Pop Plus - it then meet the Outlaw and became a Rally Specmobile (Wrote off - not my fault)

Mk2 Escort 1300 Pop - wrote off - my fault

Mk3 Escort - traded in

Sierra 1600 GLX - Outlaw turned into a cozzie killer

Volvo x 2 - loved these - old bangers

Orion 1900 I ghia- sold

Senator 3L 24v Cosworth - Loved this! - Outlaw had an unfortunate incident in it!

Omega estate 2.2 - loads of hassle - had a unfortunate accident with a telegraph pole - sort of my fault

Current: Zafira 1.9 Diesel - nice car but causing grief with a faulty turbo although keep getting dealer b*******.

Always wanted an old VW Bug Van in pink covered in daisies to tour around the country in!! Outlaw not impressed by this I cannot see why??

I'm definately seeing a trend here... Lots of escorts and other bangers that have been "done up".

Come on, people from outside Essex need to tell us what they've owned too!

I'm not from Essex, Calam is from Hackney :good:

You cant beat a Dagenham dustbin for doing up or a first car, well the old ones any way.

Cheap parts, not to bad for rust, cheap to insure.
