Enrico Posted Sunday at 02:05 Report Share Posted Sunday at 02:05 Hello, I have an old Hammer Gun seems to be refurbished, no makers name on the side plates. Stamped on the underside barrel rib there is a stamp, not sure but might fit William Rochester Pape time period maybe William Richard’s. LC I assume means long cylinder, I also think it’s a live pigeon gun. on the top rib says only London Fine Twist some pictures below, if anybody can identify the maker. London Best Posted Sunday at 12:10 Report Share Posted Sunday at 12:10 LC amongst the proof marks stood for ‘long case’, meaning a longer than standard chamber. BUT, your LC is not amongst the proof marks, which must be stamped on the barrel. Yours is on the rib. Dunno. Sorry I can’t be more helpful. islandgun Posted Sunday at 14:16 Report Share Posted Sunday at 14:16 Very nice, I seem to have some recollection of a greener with a diamond shaped inlay, hopefully someone with knowledge will recognise it
