fortune
Can anyone tell me what this is. (I know it's a gun). It's Italian in origin It's got a kassnar recoil pad And that's it. There's no manufactures id on it anywhere.

fortune
Thanks loopy. It is a very striking and pretty gun. It is a 12g with fixed chokes full top half bottom. Non ejector with a plainish stock. Italian proof marks but no kg mark. There is made in Italy stamped lightly on the top barrel at the breech end. the only other marking on it is a Letter G with the letters IMAC in a curve above the G. It shoulders very well with a slight weight bias to the muzzle.

fortune
Hi ziplex Thats what I thought when I first saw it but it's not German it's ITALIAN and it isn't high enough quality. The engraved sweep shape on the side of the breech looks the same as a merkel

fortune
I'm not interested in the value of the gun. I just posted it here in case anyone might recognise it as it is strange that hasn't got any manufacturer ID on it. I think it is a bit of a cheapy but it sure is a nice looking gun and it handles very well. It's one of those guns that just seem to have a nice feel about it. Very hards to be sure...I would recon an experts opinion should be sought if there is no manufacturer on it Certianly is a nice piece...I like the engraving to.
