It will be used for my pre-charged airgun, but only to about 50 yards max, so the beam dooesnt have to be 100's of yards! I want a good lamp in terms of- A- Battery life B- Weight (not too heavy!) C-Quality/ reliability D-Must be rechargeable E- Less than 150 UkP Any info any one could give me i would be very grateful. Going to get one on saturday so hopefully someonne can advise me! Dave-G Posted December 19, 2007 Report Share Posted December 19, 2007 lightweight Is an issue so I presume you will be on foot - which means trailing wires are going to be a problem that can be avoided within your budget. Air rifle ranges All you want lit up is the area seen through the scope, and a back stop within pellet range. So one with a tunnel to stop the stray light being seen from a wide angle is optimum. Look at some of my NV spotting videos, and note how tight the beam is, no point alerting things outside of your vision or range. (reliable)The Deben Atom Tactical now has a much better nimH battery pack located in a pouch on the butt rather than a bulky gel cell battery on the hip with trailing wires.
