GREENGRASS
Had short notice invite to attend a Game Shoot. Felt a little out of my depth but live and learn. Picked up some advice from the beaters ( IS THERE ANY LEAD IN THOSE CARTRIDGES ) as I missed two cock pheasants to my right LoL. Another beater stated to me, ( YOU SHOULD TAKE THAT SHOTGUN BACK TO THE DEALER AND EXCHANGE IT FOR ONE THAT WORKS ). Still it was a good day and I did enjoy myself. Shot about six pheasants missed to many to mention also missed three woodcock. Birds that were shot and one of the beaters dogs. sandersj89
Many knock game shooting but it is challeneging shooting in the main and on some shoots I have been on it is very very hard shooting! You have an audience which can make it horrible unless you can take some ribbing plus when in a hot seat you have little time to think. Fast and furious! My first love is still decoying pigeons but driven game is a very close second. Well done! Jerry
beatingisbest
( IS THERE ANY LEAD IN THOSE CARTRIDGES ) ( YOU SHOULD TAKE THAT SHOTGUN BACK TO THE DEALER AND EXCHANGE IT FOR ONE THAT WORKS ) Some good ones there but my favorite has got to be "what needs to be picked up? just cartridges?" al4x
Its all about having fun not the number shot but I know its frustrating as hell missing. This years weather seems to have produced some cracking birds on a lot of shoots and give them a windy day and they can be very tricky. ChrisNicholls
Nice to see them hung up properly too, much better than some pictures on here where they look like they have been just dumped on the floor.
