stevethefish
Got some old cartridges don't know if they are worth anything, some are Arthur Turner, late Maleham & co Wing cartridges, some eley max/grand prix 12g and 20 x 28g eley max. Just found them at the back of my safe inherited them a while ago. Any Ideas?

Floating Chamber
Yes, very nice specimens. Keep them, or make sure you get at least a quid each for them. They mean a lot to some 'old codgers'!

Will_Rimmer_
I have some mint conditioned Eley gastight in the box, are they collectable ?
Floating Chamber
I have some mint conditioned Eley gastight in the box, are they collectable? If they are paper, ('brick-red'), rolled turnover, brown printed card, high brass, 12 ICI 12, 'ELEY KYNOCH' - then YES! Keep them in the box, don't handle them without white gloves. Will_Rimmer_
Yes that what they are floating chambers, they are number 4s. But im going to keep them for a long time.
Chard
Strangely, they also fetch good money when they've been fired I've seen fired paper shotgun cartridges sell on Ebay for a few quid each. You sometimes see a collection of 4 or 5 dead cartridges (paper) and the bidding is up to 11-12 quid Of course, Ebay wouldn't let you put live cartridges on there They only accept dead cartridges and fake designer gear Edited January 9, 2008 by Chard

wildoliver
I think I'm going to really go to town and make them myself! Cant decide to go with a printed background of some kind or a nice bit of oiled wood.
