Peter_HMR
would prefer the parker hale due to asthetic reasons but is it up to the job? Also whats the optimal barrel lenght for a .22lr semi
Baldrick
The Parker Hale is good, but the SAK is much better. The latter is easy to strip, clean and reassemble, and it has better sound attenuating qualities. I have one of each, but if I needed a replacement I would buy another SAK (unless I wanted to shell out on an A-TEC).

njc110381
I like the SAK better than the PH mod, it's shorter. Can't really say more than that, I've not used anything else. I was chatting with South Yorkshire Shooting Supplies (one of the best 10/22 tuners out there) and they seemed to think 14-16" is the optimum length for a .22lr semi. I though the powder was gone after 12", but I'm not going to question these guys, they know their stuff Edited January 12, 2008 by njc110381

D2D PS having had both, the sak is quieter, shssssssss Edited January 12, 2008 by dusk2dawn
