codling99 Posted January 19, 2008 Report Share Posted January 19, 2008 sounds like your stuffed mate,seems to be the general rule,that you cant hire,or drive anyone elses motor unless their in surance covers any driver irellevant of age.have you tried citizens advice,if landrover are at fault surely they should provide some thing no matter what your age,they sold the vehicle after all . I know its a bit ****, but have you tried a van hire place? at least it will get you around until your own car is back. failing that, buy a £200 car and transfer your insurance across until your own is repaired, and then take it to the breakers yard! I haven't look at my insurace details as it has only gone in for a repair to the engine. dont think insurance would be interested Sam Its the only way you're going to have any success, call your insurers and ask them if they will cover you temporarily on a loan vehicle if they will get hold of Landrover and say will they lend you a courtesy car if you insure it.
