tikkamark
Hello folks i dont know if these can be classed as sporting pictures but what the heck I picked her up last night i was very impressed by the handling of it for such a big gun its really light i could'nt believe how light it was its actually a good bit lighter than my old al 391 synthetic Its a 30" barreled model with the kick-off recoil system which is very good i only fired 5 shots out of it so far but 3" alphamax bb's feel like 28gram trap cartridges through it Im very impressed by the build quality of the internals, every thing is a lot stronger and bigger than the al391 the chamber is massive i could'nt get over the size of the 3.5" shells :o the dealer through me in 2 boxes of 3.5" 63gram 0's and 63gram 4's cant wait to see what charlie thinks of those While i was in the gun shop i got the dealer to adjust the trigger of my t3 tactical we turned it down to a very consistant 2lbs the results on paper today were very very impressive shot 3 VERY tight groups at 100yrds all the holes were touching on each group with 55gr hornady v-max molys i set it the reccomended 1.4" high at 100yrds then tried a group at 200yrds(lasered with lecia) i got a 1/2" group at that distance i was delighted its a long way out when you properly range it Cant wait to test it on a fox but the weather is totally **** here Here's a few pics Edited January 19, 2008 by tikkamark

ShaggyRS6
Really nice gun. I think that will be next on my list of Shotty's, wnated one for a long time. Not sure if i can justify it for Rough Shooting mind

Not sure if i can justify it for Rough Shooting mind Yeah it might be a bit expensive if just used for roughshooting but its a great all rounder it would be a good gun for the pigeons over decoys as it holds 6 70mm shells so you would not have to reload it so often, and for shooting driven foxes its perfect also needless to say it would be one of the best wildfowling guns you could get. I'm in the republic of Ireland there's no fac here its either a shotgun certificate or a rifle certificate so obviously its on a shotgun certificate

Good stuff alex You wont go wrong with the buffalo river safe my extrema fits into it with 7" to spare and at 53"odd inches long it certainly is not small

tikkamark
Well wear Mark Bet ya could've managed that trigger yourself Yeah it was handy enough to take the barrel out but he had a fiddly job getting it back into the stock, and after hearing horror story's regarding accuracy from a certain former tikka owner in galway(no names mentioned ) i didnt want to screw it up.But all is well it makes a hell of a difference Did you finish with any more thursday night?Mad to get out myself but anytime i take a gun out of the safe the heavens seem to open Was out today with the under+over with the springer got one grand cock but got saturated in the process it was dry all morn then the second i pull up at the gate to the field the drips started then forgot to stop since

We saw another fox not long after that but he was away and running at the lamp and it was wet so we didn't bother him. Especially as we were pointed in the direction of the chipper

AdamC
God I wish I had a decent paid job! Even with the a paid job there is always something else you could buy. Once you are in the situation where you could afford a particular gun or car, you always want a better gun or car, or more of them. Ok if you make the ultra rich then you may want for nothing (material), but not sure that comes without its hurdles. I knew a very wealthy guy. Had sold his business for several million, he had a new Aston, an Audi Q7, convertible Mini Cooper S, huge house in Windsor, holidays like you wouldn't believe, but uder the face of it all, he was deeply unhappy for the above reasons. Lovely gun Mark, congratulations. How exciting is it bringing a new gun home in its case? Rehtorical question..... IT IS VERY EXCITING.
