oozelumbird
Hi everyone. My Dad had a shoulder replacement last year (October) He wants to get back into his shooting but obviously recoil is a real issue. Does anyone have any advice on what he could use to reduce the recoil. something more than a Kickease pad. Thanks in advance.
Catamong
I use an Isis recoil reducer, made & sold by Dave Izzard. www.recoilsystems.com Cat.
Gordon R
Don't get the type that replaces the butt plate and moves in and out at the end. Moveable butt plate in effect. I had a Gracoil one and it bounced the gun out of my shoulder, I pulled the trigger again (involuntarily) and the stock hit me in the eye. Useless. I would go with an auto and 24grm loads providing they will cycle.
BlaserF3
I agree with the auto and light loads. With the Beretta recoil reducer in the stock and a geltek pad on the butt my Ulrika 2 weighs 8 1/2pounds and using Gamebore Whitegold XLR 28gms the felt recoil is very low.
