ShaggyRS6
Got a call from my FLO today advising me that the last 5 orchards he had on his list to check had been completed. I was only hoping for FAC Air on Pretty much all them other than the one below which I thought may get a Rimmy. To my amazement they have all been passed for .22 which (something i did not know) also covers the HMR. What amazes me more is that 2 of the permissions in question are about the same size in area as the top left and top right zones on the permission below (if that makes sense) Really Gob Smacked, especially for a Gob On A Stick Anyone else got permissions of the same size that allow .22 and HMR? pin
Way back when I was getting my FAC sorted I applied for .17hmr/.22lr/fac air and wanted them all on my "base" permission. Cutting a long story short I was absolutely convinced I wouldn't get the .22 on that permission, too flat / roads / bridle paths etc. I was impatient and they couldn't find the land in the database, its in a different area to my issuing force so they had to write to them and get it checked etc. I ended up scrapping the .22lr from the app to get it through sharpish, 2 months later me FEO came back to me saying the land had already been passed for .22lr years back. Just goes to show
magman
Got smaller passed for 223 All depends on the ground
ShaggyRS6
Yep. It just just show ya. The reason I applied for FAC was because of these bits of land. A welcome suprise.
njc110381
One of my permissions is about that size. Dead flat, and cleared for 6.5x55 Well done. I'm glad they cleared it all so you can use the rimmy
Soulboy
Shaggy they are nice the FEO's in Kent, had exactly the same down here near Canterbury. And as an added bonus, when applying for a variation( Semi auto) they granted me an open ticket after 8 months, did'nt even ask for it! SPARKIE
just check that again m8 as i have someland passed for .22 but not for the use of .17hmr due to noise i think but dont think that if its passed for .22lr because its bigger bullet than the .17hmr its passed for .17hmr i had a rather big descussion on this with my feo the same lang isnt passed for my .22wmr neither
ShaggyRS6
Deffo is. I only shoot on the land after speaking to the FLO, in fact he generally calls me. I then get the letter the next day. In Kent, if its cleared for 22LR its cleared for HMR. But i see where your comming from. I guess firces are different in different areas. In fact, my FLO does not agree with it and I was astounded by it. But rukes is rules And Soulboy. Yes they do seem to be nice.
