apbuild
As Chairman of Dorchester Gun Club, I am currently looking for new guns to come along for our alternate Sunday, 50 bird clay shoots. We are a friendly bunch who meet up every other Sunday to shoot clays and have a good time. we begin shooting at 10am and are normally done by 12 when we retire to the local pub in Warborough for a beer! Our shooting ground is situated near Burcot, Oxfordshire. Full details (dates and directions) available from me, Rob, at rob.apbuild@ntlworld.com. NOTE. None of our shooting is very competitive. Myself and a couple of my commitee are regular 40's ex 50 shooters and are more than willing to advise both beginner and club standard shooter. Crackshots also welcome. Look forward to hearing from you. Bob the builder.

Gemma
You're not far away, I've never had a go before but would love to have a bash. I'm sure I could convince Will to tutor me for the morning! Just don't laugh at me, I'm a beginner :*) maybe you should set a date in the future for everyone to aim at? lurcherboy
Gemma, the last thing you need is him tutoring you. I have heard about his 'shooting' prowness. B) LB

Gemma, As I said, we are a friendly bunch and welcome new shooters, all we need is some prior notice if you wish to come along. We are shooting tomorrow, 15th August and then will be every fortnight thereafter. Maybe see you soon. Rob.

apbuild
Pete, I don't know if you received notification, I can't remember if the Secretary has your contact details, but we have moved the dates we shoot by one week to allow those of us who want to, to shoot at Hornet and Easington near Thame. We will next be shooting on Sunday 24th July 2005 and then fortnightly after that! Hope to see you soon mate, and anyone else who fancies a bit of clay practice before the game season!!! Rob. kdubya
cheers for that but not really sure in the present climate if having a shotgun and carts in the boot whilst entering an raf airbase might be a good idea? will be down my father in laws sometime during the school hols so will sort something then will be in sandy and then milton keynes (wifes sisters) so not to far off to go for some sporting shots? cheers Keith
apbuild
Oops, I didn't think of that one! Just seen on the news, how security has been stepped up for this years tatoo. All persons and their cars are being thoroughly searched on entering Fairford. Have a great time Kdubya. Rob.
