Heres the motely crew Tony, Jack and myself.

Something like ''THE GOOD, THE BAD & THE UGLY''

All the birds were shot on a local pig farm from two hides.

Tony on one side of the farm. Myself and Jack shooting over two decoy patterns from the AI tent.

Two of us scored personal bests. Young Jack got 28 birds (Good shooting as he is only 15 years old, and new to the sport),

I managed 117 birds

Tony shot a good bag of 78.

223 birds in total

A great day.

God days guys,

Were you using crow decoys to bring them down, I have a pig farm to shoot and he has about 1000 crows that move around the land all day.

The problem as soon as you get one they move off to pastures new.

The only thing that seem to attract them is the pigeon magnet, may be I should try a couple of crows on the rotary.

Any advise I will thank in advance.

That's a fine looking chap on the left!!! B)

It was indeed a good day.

Elma and Jack where up to 50 and I had only had 10 birds  . Then I stuck a rook on the electronic flapper I bought from Deako at the CLA and hey presto! I hadn't tried this before with rooks but it certainly semed to pull them in. The usual half dozen birds landed in the pattern while I had drink in one hand and sandwich in the other and they were not spooked by the flapper at all.

Well done Jack, a good bag so early in your shooting career. ;)

Elma, you're a spawny ***! :P
