Big_Sam
Right chaps, got a choice of these two for skeet shooting. Needs to be able to shoot steel, so Remmy 1100 skeet (cylinder) or Hatsan Escort it is. Remmy is currently winning, but escort more versatile? Both are same price. Need to know by monday. magman
The Remmi was born to shoot skeet and has won more skeet comps than youv'e had hot dinner's .
Hodmedod.one
I had a look at an Escort yesterday and was not impressed. I had a Remi 1100 donkey's years ago and sold it. I always regretted it so I bought a Remi 11-87 to replace it. It is a quality piece of kit. Go for the Remi and you won't be disappointed

njc110381
I can only go by reputation rather than real experience, but it has to be the remmy. One of the best semi autos ever, compared to the Hatsan (one of the worst)
clayman
The remmy is reliable and easy to get parts for - Edgar Bros are main importers, and all gunsmiths are familiar with them. Good resale. Only tip, keep a spare O ring with you at all times, pretty hard wearing but when they fail you'll not get second shot. Two mins to replace if you have one on you. I bought a R 1100 20g skeet second hand 7 yrs ago, and have used it for training, plus shot it myself on occasion. I recently sold it for what I paid for it. Can't complain, other than I miss it.
