russ91
what do you guys think is the best all rounder for using on calibers from .22RF to .
JohnGalway
The one you were thinking of, lightforce 170 For foxing anyhow, if it's strong for .22lr you can downgrade the bulb to a lower wattage, not much you can do about the size but it's perfect for centrefire foxing. JohnGalway
You can get one with a dimmer, or you can buy an inline dimmer seperately from Debens, they work out to around the same cost I think. I bought the inline and added it to my own cable once the lightfoce connections etc gave up on me. Never had one with an inbuilt dimmer so I can't comment on that set up. Baldrick
Anothr vote for the Lightforce 170 from me. I have a scope-mounted version (that is easily hand held) that I swap between several rifles, and I also have a shotgun barrel mount. russ91
right thanks mate i will be doing the same swaping the lamp between rifles.
Baldrick
You'll need to invest in several scope or barrel mounts then, as they are pretty much permanent fixtures. You can buy them online for about £15 apiece.
