Norfolk Fishing Trips

Pavman booked a trip to celebrate my 21st, and a very good present it turned out to be...

We arrived at Lowestoft harbour at 0900 and were slightly concerned by the layer of fog which didn’t look like it was going anywhere fast.

When we climbed onboard the Katie Louise, skipper Adam quickly assured us that the fog was not a problem and we would still be fishing the same area of rough ground as originally planned.

After a very speedy trip out to the point with the 7 of us standing over the roaring twin 5.9 Cummins engines we were into fish straight away with myself landing a very large whiting.

We continued to catch fish throughout the session, mainly codling of between 2-5lb. Everyone was catching fish and a great day was had by all.

I would highly recommend booking a trip with Norfolk Fishing Trips – it was by far the best trip we have been on, very knowledgeable and friendly skipper, extremely well equipped, everything provided and you even get your own seat and rod rest.

You can get all contact information and see more pictures on the website: Norfolk Fishing Trips

P.S This review has absolutely nothing to do with the fact the Skipper was a chef for 18 years and prepared a full roast dinner that would put anyone’s missus to shame, absolutely nothing at all.

Best bait turned out to be Squid, the smaller fish and Whiting fell for worm,

we did try to get some PW lads interested in this trip some time back but alas it never really got taken up,,,,,

However I for one will be going back as they run a 24 hr Tope fish and Wreaking in the summer  Judging by young Pavs smile I can guess he may wish to join the ole man, I now have 16 fillets in the frezer :hmm:
