lewis
Hi guys, I was wondering is the white tail classic (1.5-5x20) was any good for shooting up to 30 yards shooting? im mostly going to be using it for rabbits and rats so will this be a good scope for me, can someone with experience with this scope clear it up ? Cheers Lewis
luckytrigger
Ive used a 1.4-5x20 wtc on my rimmy in the past for 30yd+rabbits when lamping as it has a very good field of view so it should be fine good on close range rats too. What type of gun are you gonna be using it on? Edited March 29, 2008 by luckytrigger
lewis
im not sure something like a s200-s400 or a daystate x3? im not using anything like a hmr on it. will this be alright? cheers
tweedledee
great scope for rats i use 6/8 mag for 40 and less
luckytrigger
It should be fine. I rarely use more than x4 or x5 mag when lamping often a good deal less when close range(under 20yds) ratting.

Easy Bully
ok im going to order one off uttings cheers You wont regret it these are fantastic scopes with a huge field of vision which is great for scanning tree tops, barns etc, I've got one on my TDR and have used it for shooting rats at 20 yards and rabbits out to 35+ with no problems.
