Anthony.D
We are going to get a springer spaniel after summer holidays. Can any recommend books, DVD's or videos to help training. We have had Labs and terriers before, no spaniels though. Any help much appreciated.
WGD
Training Spaniels book by Joe Irving, it seems good - I'll tell you how effective it is in a few months once I've put some of the theory to the test, pup arrives mid-April. I watched the first half last night, it is excellent and really helps you to see what is meant by certain training descriptions, body placement, distances etc etc - just a good example of how a picture can be better than a thousand words. Would highly recommend it, thanks kenny! WGD

Anthony.D
Once again thanks all. Our old dog doesn't like going far now, walks take ages!! So we're looking forwad to lots of exercisewith the new one. I suppose it will be a short stroll with both old and young, then long walk/exercise etc. after.
