berettaman1
Just been reading old family history, and the official story of my grandfathers last words just before he fell in the great war,...1914... 1918...in France...Most of the french army apparently where cowering in Britain untill they knew who to side with after the war finished !...... As I read his last words the tears ran down my face, and made me realise all our troubles today are nothing. God rest his Soul, and the hundreds of thousands of our young fighting men who died for France.

scolopax
Bit of a slur to the old frenchies, they took a real battering during WWI.
